Job Description

Remote HR Manager conducting neutral workplace investigations for Sigma Systems. Advising leaders and HR partners on employee relations, risk, and compliant resolutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workplace investigations as a neutral fact-finder
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters
  • Support the fair and consistent resolution of workplace concerns
  • Manage investigations involving alleged policy violations, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace conduct concerns, and other employee complaints
  • Partner with Employee Relations, Human Resources Business Partners, Labor Relations, Legal, Global Security, and business leaders
  • Assess facts and document investigation findings
  • Support consistent and compliant outcomes
  • Consult with Human Resources Business Partners and leaders on employee relations matters
  • Provide practical guidance, assess risk, and recommend appropriate courses of action

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, workplace investigations, or a related field
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR policies
  • Experience consulting leaders on employee concerns
  • Ability to conduct thorough, objective, and defensible workplace investigations
  • Strong interviewing, fact-finding, analytical, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, assess credibility, and manage sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to consult and collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners and leaders on employee relations matters
  • Ability to provide practical guidance, assess risk, and recommend appropriate courses of action while balancing business needs and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Preferred experience conducting investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace misconduct, ethics concerns, and other policy violations
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, distribution, or unionized environments is highly desirable
  • Experience utilizing case management systems such as HR Acuity, Navex, EthicsPoint, or similar platforms is preferred
  • Professional certifications related to workplace investigations, human resources, employee relations, conflict resolution, or employment law are a plus
