Job Description
Workday HRIS Manager responsible for optimizing HRIS programs and supporting People Operations processes. Collaborating with various departments to ensure data integrity and drive automation.
Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day administration and ongoing optimization of Workday (HCM, Benefits, US Payroll, and more)
- Configure and maintain workflows, security roles, organizational structures, and business processes – such as employee reviews, goal setting, etc.
- Partner with People Ops, Payroll, Finance, Legal and IT to support system needs and cross-functional processes
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support People insights and operational needs
- Ensure data integrity and governance, including audits, validations, and cleanup initiatives
- Troubleshoot system issues and manage enhancements, releases, and updates
- Document system processes, standards, and configurations
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements to reduce manual work
- Support integrations with external systems (payroll, benefits, etc.)
- Partner on audit readiness and compliance requirements related to HR systems
Requirements:
- 4–7 years of experience in Workday administration
- Hands-on experience with Workday configuration (business processes, security, reporting, EIB loads and integration support)
- Experience supporting HR, Payroll, or People Ops processes through systems
- Strong understanding of data structures, reporting, and system workflows
- Experience working cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
