Job Description
Inside Territory Manager analyzing Farmers’ agency portfolios and driving profitable growth across insurance lines. Training agencies and executing territory strategies remotely across the Southeast Region.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze agency activity within a portfolio of assigned agencies and associated premium under management
- Recommend methods to provide profitable policy and premium growth
- Implement special zone or departmental strategies independently or as part of a team
- Promote the company value proposition and drive results for Personal, Specialty and Business Insurance lines
- Train agencies on products, services and technology
- Use MFP, E-Mail, Contact management tool, TNT, data cube, BIE2 and FP.com to manage agency and portfolio data and performance
- Record agency competitor, segmentation and contact activity information
- Develop agency management expertise and techniques
- Enhance knowledge of the company, products, processes and markets through training and self-directed learning
- Direct licensing and service requests to proper support groups
- Collaborate with Service, Underwriting, Product and field zone counterparts
- Apply technology to manage the portfolio
- Develop tactical plans and measure results
- Coach and mentor new Associate Agency Portfolio Managers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- State insurance license desirable
- Minimum of 3 years sales, marketing or insurance experience
- Specialty, Auto and Commercial lines product knowledge
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish, particularly in speaking, reading, and writing
- Must successfully pass a third party testing process and meet the minimum proficiency standard for the approved language(s)
- Proficient in required technology and software
- Broad understanding of market in territory and Farmers' position
- Must reside in the Southeast Region
