Job Description

Insights Director leading data analysis and storytelling for Escalent's research projects. Freelance contractor focused on delivering high-quality insights and collaboration with industry experts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and/or execute the development of insights and storytelling and complete the data analysis and reporting phases of projects.
  • The contractor will work closely with Escalent staff in Insights, Project Management, and Sales & Strategic Growth roles in delivering project solutions in a high-quality manner.
  • The contractor may leverage a variety of methods and tools and may collaborate with Escalent experts, including Centers of Excellence such as Marketing & Data Sciences, Behavioral Science, the Qualitative team, Syndicated & Javelin Advisory practices.
  • The contractor will apply their existing expertise to collaborate with Escalent staff across project engagements.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor degree in a related field.
  • An advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience within the desired industry or sector
  • Highly skilled in analytics functional skillset
  • Breadth of research methodology expertise & experience including survey / instrument design
  • Able to distill findings into meaningful insights
  • Formation of story architecture
  • Highly skilled in all aspects of Reporting (deliverables)
  • Prescriptive / Consultative Writing skills reports and client communications
  • Data viz / PPT / Excel
  • Autonomous report design / analysis plan
  • Strong presentation and storytelling abilities
  • Ability to contribute to research design and/or proposal writing if the engagement requires
  • Ability to manage a number of projects concurrently.
  • High degree of professionalism & situational awareness (particularly related to client interactions)
  • Highly collaborative, capable of working effectively with Escalent staff in various roles and geographies.
