Job Description
Remote Insurance Agent supporting pet insurance customers with inquiries, account issues, and policy questions. Handling service, compliance, sales, and retention efforts for Independence Pet Holdings’ pet health brands.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers by providing information about products and/or services
- Answer questions and resolve problems and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Respond to internal and external inquiries within stated service level agreements (SLAs)
- Manage incoming contacts regarding member questions, customer complaints, product inquiries, warranties, and general customer concerns
- Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies for member accounts
- Cross-train and assist team members as needed
- Maintain product knowledge and awareness of customer service and/or store policies
- Ensure understanding and compliance with federal and state regulations
- Participate in solution innovation, sales, and retention efforts with current and new clients
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Must have and maintain a Property & Casualty License or obtain within 45 days of hire
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in customer service, call center, or a similar field
- No formal education requirement
- Must understand and comply with federal and state regulations
- Availability for the 12:00–8:30pm EST shift
