Job Description

Technical Integration Analyst testing and maintaining EHR and payer connections for Milliman IntelliScript’s insurance and health IT SaaS products. Troubleshooting APIs, authentication, data feeds, and connectivity issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret vendor API documentation and technical requirements
  • Configure, test, and validate EHR and payer integrations using Postman and API testing frameworks
  • Support onboarding of new EHR, payer, and partner integrations
  • Configure authentication, security credentials, client IDs, certificates, OAuth workflows, and related integration components
  • Monitor and maintain existing integrations for reliability and performance
  • Implement changes resulting from vendor API updates, new capabilities, and security requirements
  • Assist with regression testing and production validation
  • Investigate endpoint health issues and identify integration failures
  • Resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 support escalations
  • Troubleshoot production issues involving APIs, data feeds, authentication, and connectivity
  • Partner with engineering, support, and product teams to resolve customer-impacting issues
  • Execute and validate directory data loads and support data updates and corrections
  • Review and prioritize integration-related requests and coordinate ticket workflows
  • Communicate technical findings and status updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate troubleshooting with customers, vendors, and implementation partners
  • Maintain Jira tickets and operational documentation
  • Develop technical runbooks and troubleshooting guides
  • Identify opportunities to improve support processes and operational efficiency
  • Provide input into future integration strategy and roadmap planning

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong ability to read and understand EHR and payer API integration documentation
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive approach to solving problems and correcting issues
  • Ability to communicate clearly and produce well-structured written communications
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and seek feedback
  • Adaptability to new ideas and ability to integrate new knowledge and skills into daily tasks
  • Ability to identify and analyze basic problems and apply analytical thinking
  • Ability to suggest improvements, implement changes, and monitor results with moderate supervision
  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Continued education and/or advanced degrees are desirable
  • Experience with HL7 or FHIR is desirable
  • Experience with data integration, EHR systems, and regulatory compliance is desirable
  • Experience in HIPAA and/or PCI-regulated environments is desirable
  • Experience in SaaS, actuarial science, and/or insurance underwriting is desirable
