Job Description
Interim Director of Nursing overseeing nursing programs and resident care standards in long term care facilities. Requires frequent travel in various states within the US.
Responsibilities:
- Provides temporary nursing facility leadership and support
- Monitors the operations of the nursing staff and ensures compliance with regulations
- Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews
- Maintains communication and addresses the rapidly changing healthcare environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required
- Five years nursing experience required
- Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
