Job Description

Internal General Manager driving operations, systems, reporting, and cross-functional execution at an offshore staffing and HR company serving U.S. businesses. Partnering directly with founders in a fully remote role.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with founders to manage day-to-day business priorities
  • Translate high-level goals into concrete plans, owners, deadlines, and follow-through
  • Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, and recurring problems
  • Own projects from idea through implementation
  • Organize priorities and ensure important work is completed
  • Make practical decisions independently and escalate issues when needed
  • Build, document, and improve internal processes
  • Simplify, automate, or eliminate repetitive and inefficient work
  • Create systems for tracking responsibilities, workflows, and performance
  • Establish operating rhythms that support accountability
  • Audit existing processes and determine what to change, remove, or build
  • Maintain organization across internal tools, documentation, and workflows
  • Coordinate work across sales, recruiting, client success, and other functions
  • Clarify cross-functional handoffs and responsibilities
  • Follow up on open items and drive projects toward completion
  • Identify dependencies and resolve execution blockers
  • Serve as a central coordination point across functions
  • Track business metrics and convert operational data into insights
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and tracking systems
  • Monitor performance against company goals and identify areas needing attention
  • Help founders understand performance and resource priorities
  • Recommend business improvements using data and firsthand observation
  • Support founders on high-priority initiatives and ambiguous problems
  • Research tools, vendors, processes, and opportunities
  • Step into areas needing additional attention
  • Act as a force multiplier by taking problems off founders' plates and driving resolution

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business operations, general management, project management, consulting, entrepreneurship, or a similar high-ownership role
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a track record of following through
  • Comfortable working independently without needing detailed instructions for every task
  • Strong judgment and ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Resourceful problem-solving ability with limited information
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Comfortable working directly with founders and senior stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a broader perspective
  • Commercial understanding of how operational decisions affect revenue, customers, and the broader business
  • Comfortable working in a small company where responsibilities can change quickly
  • Willingness to work in detail when necessary
