Job Description
International commercial strategy lead adapting The Quality Group’s sports nutrition commercial playbook for UK and European markets. Localizing retailer, Amazon, pricing, promotion and KPI plans.
Responsibilities:
- Adapt the group's trade-channel priorities and growth ambition for the UK, Benelux, Italy, Switzerland and Austria
- Localize the commercial strategy for each market, including priorities, KPIs and customer-focused plans
- Define channel- and market-specific assortment, hero SKUs and ranging recommendations for priority retailers and Amazon
- Set and track distribution KPIs
- Define “perfect store” standards covering shelf execution, secondary display, POS and claims
- Set and track shelf and display KPIs
- Define local promotional guidelines and in-store/online activation plans
- Track promotional ROI
- Define local omnichannel pricing and pack-size strategy
- Set and track pricing and margin KPIs
- Enable local KAMs and field sales teams to execute effectively
- Ensure sell-in tools and brand/category training are delivered on time and in full
- Localize the innovation masterplan and KAM/field-sales sell-in toolkits for international retailers and Amazon
- Act as the key point of contact between international country execution/KAM teams and the central commercial strategy function
- Own commercial KPI and ROI tracking and reporting for international markets
- Represent International in global commercial review cadences
- Feed local retailer and consumer insights into global brand and commercial planning
- Report to the VP International, with a dotted line to the Global Commercial Lead
Requirements:
- 6–8 years of commercial strategy, trade marketing, category management or key account management within FMCG, CPG, sports/active nutrition or wellness
- Direct experience with major retailers in the UK and/or Benelux and possibly already a multi-market or regional experience
- Comfort working cross-functionally and cross-culturally with a German HQ team
- Strong analytical skills, with experience owning commercially relevant KPIs and turning data into action
- Hands-on, pragmatic mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to influence across markets and functions without direct authority
- Based in the UK or the Netherlands
- Willingness to travel regularly to Hamburg and across the International market cluster
- German language skills are a plus but not required
