Job Description
IT Infrastructure Project Manager leading infrastructure projects including cloud migrations and data center management at Freudenberg. Ensuring project delivery on time, budget, and scope with effective stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects (e.g. Cloud migrations, data center, network, workplace) ensuring delivery on time, budget, and scope
- Define and manage project scope, plans, and milestones, including resource allocation and detailed scheduling
- Drive risk, issue, and change management across the full project lifecycle, with proactive mitigation and escalation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors, ensuring alignment between business, architecture, and operations
- Ensure transparent communication and reporting to stakeholders, including senior management and steering committees
- Establish strong stakeholder relationships and ensure effective collaboration across global delivery teams.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on infrastructure environments (network, Cloud, data center)
- Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale projects in international enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies (e.g. Cloud platforms, servers, storage, networking, security)
- Excellent project management expertise, including methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Agile/Scrum)
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate at executive level
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex topics clearly and convincingly in English
- German language skills are nice to have.
