Job Description
IT/OT program manager leading Industry 4.0 transformation across European manufacturing sites. Driving OT modernization, IT/OT convergence, governance, and measurable operational value.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT/OT transformation initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites
- Deliver OT assessments, technology modernisation, industrial data foundation, and IT/OT convergence programmes
- Define integration roadmaps, reference architectures, and governance frameworks with architects and domain experts
- Translate current-state complexity into future-state strategy
- Facilitate workshops, site assessments, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews
- Manage executive communications and governance across Operations, Engineering, IT, OT, Cybersecurity, and business leadership
- Manage programme scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and reporting throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Integrate organisational change management into programme delivery
- Drive measurable business value across manufacturing operations
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience managing large-scale IT/OT, industrial automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 transformation programmes in manufacturing environments
- Fluent English, written and spoken, at executive stakeholder and governance level
- Demonstrated track record of multi-site program delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and dependency management across complex industrial environments
- Experience facilitating workshops, site assessments, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews
- Ability to build and manage transformation roadmaps that drive measurable business value across manufacturing operations
- Experience collaborating with architects and domain experts to define OT/IT integration roadmaps, reference architectures, and technology standards
- Deep understanding of industrial automation, OT environments, and manufacturing systems such as SCADA, DCS, and MES
- Familiarity with industrial data foundations and IT/OT convergence
- Experience working across multi-site manufacturing organisations with diverse technology landscapes and operational maturity levels
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholder groups across Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, OT, IT, Cybersecurity, and senior business leadership
- Strong executive communication and governance experience
- Experience managing organisational change management as part of programme delivery
- Structured approach to risk management, dependency tracking, and programme reporting
- Formal programme management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or PMI-ACP is nice to have
- Experience in regulated manufacturing verticals such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, energy, aerospace, or food & beverage is nice to have
- Familiarity with OT cybersecurity frameworks such as IEC 62443 or NIST CSF is nice to have
- Knowledge of cloud-connected industrial platforms such as Azure IoT, AWS IoT, or Siemens MindSphere is nice to have
- Background in consulting or systems integration delivering transformation programmes to manufacturing clients is nice to have
