Job Description
Desenvolvedor Java criando sistemas de reservas e viagens com IA generativa na Reply. Aplicação de microsserviços, LLMs e desenvolvimento orientado por especificações.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Java systems supporting travel agency operations, including bookings, ticketing, and integrations with industry suppliers and partners
- Use generative AI tools responsibly throughout the development lifecycle, applying critical judgment and systematic human validation to generated code
- Write clear, unambiguous specifications by breaking requirements down into verifiable plans and acceptance criteria for both humans and AI agents
- Build and manage context for LLMs, including instructions, constraints, examples, tool/MCP selection, and context-window management
- Critically evaluate, validate, and correct code generated by AI or developed by third parties
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborate through Git/Pull Requests
- Contribute to code quality, testability, and maintainability by following object-oriented design principles and best practices
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a tourism/travel agency, with knowledge of the industry’s processes and systems
- At least 3 years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java 8+, preferably Java 17 and 21
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Experience with Spring Boot
- Experience using generative AI and agentic tools in software development, with the ability to critically review and validate results
- Ability to write clear specifications and acceptance criteria (Spec-Driven Development; e.g., /specify, /plan)
- LLM Context Engineering
- Experience with relational databases and data modeling fundamentals
- Knowledge of unit and/or integration testing
- Experience with Git and collaboration through Pull Requests
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or XP)
- Experience developing and maintaining distributed systems, particularly microservices
- Knowledge of CI/CD technologies (preferred)
- Knowledge of non-relational databases (preferred)
- Knowledge of containers (Docker and Kubernetes) (preferred)
- Knowledge of the REST architecture style (preferred)
- Knowledge of Kafka (preferred)
- Knowledge of observability tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS (preferred)
