Job Description
Junior Applied AI Engineer supporting applied AI design, development, and deployment for an AWS and Databricks partner. Building engineering skills through production delivery, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to defined build tasks within a delivery and complete AI features to standard with team support
- Build fundamentals across the technology stack
- Apply established patterns and follow engineering standards under review
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Learn actively and grow engineering capability
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing
Requirements:
- Early-career experience — industry, internship or academic — in software engineering, machine learning or AI-related development
- Foundations in programming (Python and/or a related language) and a genuine eagerness to learn
- A collaborative, curious mindset and clear communication
- Exposure to GenAI/LLMs, RAG, cloud platforms (AWS and/or Databricks), or modern data/ML tooling is desirable
- Personal, academic or open-source projects that show interest in applied AI are desirable
