Job Description

Junior Data Engineer supporting mobile app tracking, attribution, and data pipelines at Customlytics, a DACH app marketing agency. Maintaining dashboards and marketing integrations for client campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as Adjust and AppsFlyer
  • Help ensure accurate tracking and attribution
  • Maintain and structure product feeds, campaign datasets, and automated data pipelines
  • Ensure high data quality and reliability
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic tracking, event collection, and data integration issues
  • Support integrations between marketing tools, advertising platforms, and data sources
  • Improve campaign visibility and reporting workflows
  • Contribute to dashboard creation and visualization updates in Clarisights, Adverity, and Google Sheets
  • Collaborate with senior team members, consultants, and client developers
  • Understand technical requirements and support implementation tasks

Requirements:

  • Background in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field
  • Interest in marketing data, tracking systems, and campaign attribution
  • Basic understanding of product feed structures; experience with ProductsUp is a plus
  • Introductory knowledge of MMPs such as Adjust and AppsFlyer
  • Willingness to learn troubleshooting and tracking fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Meta, Google, Apple Search Ads, or TikTok
  • Experience working with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Understanding of basic data handling and reporting
  • Interest in ChatGPT, Make.com, or Google Sheets automation
  • Curious and detail-oriented, with a strong willingness to learn
  • Clear communication skills and effective teamwork
  • Structured and proactive approach to work
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • German is a plus but not required
