Job Description

Key Account Management Lead building Halter’s enterprise customer program for virtual fencing technology. Leading Queensland account managers and expansion across large cattle producers.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead Halter's enterprise Key Account program in Queensland.
  • Develop the strategy, team structure, and scalable playbooks for large enterprise cattle producers.
  • Build and lead the Queensland Key Account Manager team, including hiring, coaching, rituals, account reviews, and deal strategy.
  • Own the strategic direction of enterprise relationships and develop account tiering and expansion strategies.
  • Manage strategic customer portfolios from pilot stage through full-scale integration with Halter technology.
  • Ensure customers realize the full value of their investment and drive retention, expansion, and long-term growth.
  • Engage senior leaders, boards, and multi-entity decision-makers as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Sales leadership on account growth, territory expansion, and new revenue streams.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, support, and sales teams to coordinate feedback, training, and rollout strategies.
  • Contribute to revenue forecasting, account performance tracking, risk and growth identification, and leadership reporting.
  • Create scalable account-management initiatives and playbooks for expansion into new regions.

Requirements:

  • Proven management capability and experience leading high-performing sales or account management teams.
  • Experience managing large, complex enterprise accounts and driving growth over time.
  • Ability to navigate executive rooms, multiple stakeholders, and complex business structures.
  • Experience identifying expansion opportunities and moving them to close.
  • Real experience in agricultural systems or rural enterprise operations.
  • Strong commercial instincts and understanding of business economics.
  • Ability to quantify and communicate business impact.
  • Strategic planning and tactical execution capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment and thrive with ambiguity.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Queensland and Northern Territory.
  • Ability to build relationships with ranch managers, general managers, boards, senior leaders, and multi-entity decision-makers.
  • Ability to collaborate across product, support, sales, Business Development, and leadership teams.
  • Ability to contribute to revenue forecasting and strategic planning.
