Job Description
Lead Software Engineer developing mobile iOS solutions; ensuring high coding standards and mentoring junior engineers at DICK’S Sporting Goods.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a product-team problem solver and domain SME to design, test, and deliver best in class solutions
- Perform business/software analysis
- Coordinate work with moderate complexity within assigned product team
- Lead the development of complex iOS applications, focusing on SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, and modern Apple frameworks
- Oversee monitoring and resolution of critical software defects within the product team
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to conceptualize and design intuitive mobile experiences
- Evaluate and recommend innovative tools, frameworks, and concurrency models to enhance performance, reliability, and developer productivity
- Own and maintain the iOS technical roadmap, aligning development priorities with evolving product needs/business requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- 6-10 years of experience
- 7-12 months experience of generalist supervision of junior colleague
