Job Description
Machine Learning Engineer at Guidewire, delivering innovative AI solutions in insurance technology. Collaborating with teams to develop and deploy production-ready ML models.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver AI/ML models from initial planning through data sourcing, preparation, model building, training, and deployment
- Create AI-based prototypes to evaluate model and design options
- Train and tune models to optimize algorithmic outcomes
- Integrate models into production systems
- Work cross-functionally to understand product needs and scope innovative AI solutions
- Conduct research into emerging AI models and technologies
- Contribute to Guidewire’s mission of operational excellence, transformative innovation, and customer-centricity
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software development experience
- at least 3 years implementing ML and AI technologies
- deep knowledge of data modeling and current ML/AI technologies
- hands-on experience developing language-based solutions using LLMs
- highly analytical mindset with creative problem-solving skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- collaborative approach in cross-functional teams
- experience deploying models in cloud environments
