Job Description
Strategic Account Manager managing major accounts in Life Sciences and Healthcare. Driving revenue growth and building relationships with global clients.
Responsibilities:
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts with accountability for revenue growth and retention
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships including C-suite stakeholders
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans
- Identify whitespace and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles and enterprise negotiations
- Serve as primary point of contact and ensure strong customer experience
- Conduct executive business and account reviews
- Partner cross-functionally across internal teams
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM data
- Stay current on industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in enterprise sales or strategic account management
- Experience selling into pharmaceutical or biopharma companies
- Proven ability to manage complex enterprise accounts
- Experience selling data, analytics, or consulting solutions
- Advanced degree in business or life sciences (it would be great if you have this)
- Experience managing global, matrixed client relationships (it would be great if you have this)
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement and contract expansion (it would be great if you have this)
- Experience in market access, clinical, or data solutions (it would be great if you have this)
- Strong consultative selling skills (it would be great if you have this)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (it would be great if you have this)
