Job Description
Business Development Manager expanding CRIO’s clinical eSource platform across Australia and Southeast Asia. Generating leads, demonstrating eSource solutions, and closing clinical research sales.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify outbound and inbound leads by phone, email, social media messaging, AI, and other available media
- Facilitate and perform capabilities demonstrations remotely and, as needed, in person
- Manage the sales pipeline, including qualification, pricing, contract negotiation, forecasting, and closing won and lost opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for capabilities demonstrations, opportunities created, and new client contracts awarded
- Become a subject matter expert on CRIO products and their impact on customers' businesses
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, key clients, stakeholders, clinical research sites, and academic institutions
- Use CRM software to track and manage sales activities and document customer interactions
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' offerings
- Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge through training, workshops, and self-learning
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and engineering teams
- Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to drive customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in a target-driven sales environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to build rapport and establish trust
- High integrity and respectful conduct
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events
- Desire to pursue a career in sales
- At least 4 years of experience in business development
- Track record of driving revenue growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Available based on AEST or ACST time zone
- Available for a weekly CRIO team call at 6AM AEST
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience as a clinical research site coordinator or highly similar position (preferred)
