Job Description
Start-Up Manager overseeing multi-country clinical trial site activation for Indero, a global dermatology and rheumatology CRO. Managing regulatory submissions, contracting, timelines, and cross-functional delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end study start-up process, including site selection, regulatory submissions, site contracting and budgeting, and site activation
- Define start-up strategy and timelines with the Project Manager and cross-functional leads
- Prepare and maintain a site activation plan
- Ensure selected sites and countries optimize opportunities for successful study delivery
- Identify and communicate delivery issues and propose solutions
- Monitor progress against timelines and address delays or risks
- Oversee and coordinate each step of the start-up process to meet activation goals
- Serve as the primary liaison among functions involved during the start-up period
- Track and report start-up performance metrics
- Lead client-facing calls in partnership with the Project Manager
- Serve as the main point of contact for start-up activities with internal teams and Sponsors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or related field
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in clinical trial start-up
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Proven ability to manage multi-country start-up activities and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
