Job Description

Manager, Nursing Network at NNPBC shaping the future of primary care nursing in BC by establishing an online community for RNs and LPNs. Collaborating with healthcare partners and ensuring nurses feel connected and supported.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Primary Care Nursing Network team
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the network, ensuring alignment with NNPBC’s goals and Ministry of Health Service Agreement for the Nurse Initiatives for Primary Care program
  • Develop and implement strategies to build and grow an active online community for RNs and LPNs
  • Gather and analyze feedback to design components and approaches to enhance the needs of the online community platform
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of content
  • Lead the collection, tracking, and analysis of metrics related to the online community
  • Coordinate and support events, conferences, and workshops that promote primary care nursing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • MBA (preferred), Masters degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Cultural safety, cultural humility, and anti-racism training, including Indigenous-specific anti-racism learning
  • Ability to think creatively with an entrepreneurial approach to program delivery
  • Innovative mindset to develop new ways to engage and grow the online community
  • Basic knowledge of UX design principles to enhance the user experience within the community platform
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles to drive community engagement and growth
  • Familiarity with tools like Air Table, Zapier or Integromat to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) for managing content, discussions, and user-generated content
  • Experience with online community platforms such as Circle, Skool, or Heartbeat
  • High proficiency with Microsoft products, including Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Experience with social media management and online engagement strategies.
