Job Description

Managing Director selling and leading commercial advisory engagements for Red Nucleus, a life sciences solutions provider. Driving client growth, $3M annual business, thought leadership, and global team development.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to life sciences clients and translate client needs into bespoke service offerings
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions for client engagements
  • Source, secure, and lead a $3 million annual book of business
  • Develop strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Deliver compelling pitches and lead contract negotiations
  • Generate thought leadership based on industry trends
  • Develop innovative solutions and capabilities
  • Steward team and company culture
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing global team
  • Lead multiple delivery teams across accounts and deliver projects with right-first-time quality
  • Lead firm-building initiatives, individual and team development, and annual strategic business planning
  • Contribute to business direction, strategy, thought leadership, growth, and scalability of the advisory business
  • Collaborate in the continued growth and development of Red Nucleus functional-area projects and commercial capabilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences or business-related fields required
  • Advanced degree in the Life Sciences and/or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years in management consulting, advisory and/or strategy and change management specifically for Life Sciences
  • Track record of sourced sales exceeding at least $3 million in the previous 2–3 years
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in Commercial Consulting
  • Executive presence
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to leverage external network to improve market positioning
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business development opportunities
  • Ability to lead client work and accounts
  • Ability to attract, retain, mentor, and grow team members
  • Ability to become a trusted partner to clients from Director to C-suite level
  • Collaborative and team-based mindset
  • Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to manage work-life balance and mentor team members accordingly
