Job Description
Manufacturing solutions analyst supporting global glass-packaging production systems at O-I. Improving, deploying, and troubleshooting manufacturing applications across worldwide production facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Build partnerships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to understand business needs and support manufacturing technology solutions
- Support deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of Global Manufacturing Information Systems across production facilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements and evaluate solution options
- Collaborate with developers to ensure solutions meet business and technical needs
- Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline manufacturing processes through technology and system enhancements
- Document business processes, workflows, system requirements, and user, operational, and technical documentation
- Scope, test, and implement application upgrades, new features, and system improvements
- Deliver training and ongoing support to end users
- Contribute to global projects and share knowledge with team members
- Participate in system support and occasional 24x7 on-call activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology, business systems support, manufacturing operations, or a related field
- Experience supporting manufacturing systems or manufacturing applications
- Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within a global team environment
- Occasional 24x7 on-call support availability as required
