Job Description
Marketing and Events Manager growing Gecko Events through content, paid media and SEO. Planning and hosting retreats and team experiences across Spain and abroad.
Responsibilities:
- Own Gecko Events’ Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok strategy and execution
- Create Reels, behind-the-scenes content, testimonials and event recaps
- Run, measure and optimize Google Ads and Meta paid campaigns
- Grow organic traffic through SEO and content
- Maintain the Webflow website, landing pages and updates
- Turn team-building formats into products with names, stories and dedicated pages
- Create sales materials, including case studies, decks and reviews
- Plan and coordinate company retreats and client events end to end
- Build agendas, timelines and logistics for events
- Coordinate venues, caterers, activities and transport through the partner network
- Manage event budgets and keep events on track
- Travel to events in Spain and abroad
- Run events on site, host activities and facilitate team connection
- Represent Gecko on camera and in person
Requirements:
- Experience in marketing, content and events
- Junior-mid profile; emphasis on demonstrated work rather than past experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Social media expertise, including Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Hands-on experience with paid media, Google Ads and Meta
- Understanding of SEO and content-driven traffic
- Ability to shoot and edit video on a phone
- Fluent English (C1)
- Catalan and other languages are a plus
- Eye for design and good taste
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Creativity and interest in inventing new formats and experiences
- Ability to adapt quickly, remain resilient and solve problems calmly on site
- Familiarity with Figma, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere
- Familiarity with CapCut or similar video tools
- Familiarity with Webflow
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite
- Familiarity with Claude and Claude Code, or drive to master these tools quickly
