Job Description
Virtual Math & Science Tutor providing individualized instruction to students across the US. Adapting lesson plans and engaging students through remote platforms in their learning journey.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's goals, accommodations, and learning profile
- Create structured lesson plans that align with student goals, grade-level standards, and the specific accommodations or modifications each student requires
- Adapt instruction in real time based on student questions, progress, and engagement
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with families and, where applicable, school district partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience working with students who have education needs
- Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations
- Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
