Job Description
Part-time online math instructor teaching AP Calculus BC and Statistics through American Straight A Academy’s global online high school. Delivering small-group lessons and tracking student progress.
Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging 1-on-1 or small-group online classes of 2–6 students
- Deliver lessons using structured teaching materials, including textbooks and slides
- Track student progress
- Submit timely post-class feedback
- Teach AP Calculus BC and/or AP Statistics to high school students worldwide
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Master’s preferred)
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a related subject area
- High school teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Professional teaching attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent teaching delivery
- Availability within the specified Eastern Time schedule options
- Ability to teach AP Calculus BC and/or AP Statistics
- Tools such as a tablet or stylus to assist with explaining problem-solving to students
