Job Description
Mechanical Engineer designing mechanical systems and critical infrastructure for Olsson’s hyperscale U.S. data center campuses. Managing projects, calculations, standards, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare planning and design documents
- Process design calculations
- Develop and maintain team and client standards
- Serve as project manager on some projects
- Lead design engineer on other projects
- Lead quality assurance/quality control activities
- Advise on complex projects
- Coordinate with Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants
- Design critical infrastructure for large hyperscale data center campuses throughout the U.S.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of related mechanical engineering experience required
- PE licensure
- Proficient in Revit
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Strong communication skills
- Project management experience preferred
