Job Description

Licensed Insurance Agent providing guidance to clients on Medicare programs and helping with enrollment. Emphasis on client education and regulatory compliance within the health insurance space.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate clients about Medicare benefits and coverage options.
  • Assist with plan enrollment and transitions.
  • Conduct plan comparisons and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service to resolve issues and answer questions.

Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to legally work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Holds valid life and health insurance license.
  • Can provide proof of release or intent to release if previously or currently appointed elsewhere.
  • Current AHIP certification.
  • Understanding of sales, and ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Capability to contract and become RTS (ready-to-sell) with multiple insurance carriers.
  • Prior experience multitasking with multiple computer screens simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in compliance with CMS Federal regulations.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
