Job Description
Medior 3D XR Developer building Unity-based medical simulations for SyncVR Medical’s hospital XR platform. Creating AI-enhanced training modules with C#, xAPI, and Quest 3 optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Build interactive medical procedures using clean, modular C# code in Unity
- Develop reusable systems for surgical and anesthetic modules
- Integrate high-fidelity 3D assets with the engine while maintaining performance
- Optimize lighting, shaders, and assets for steady FPS on standalone Quest 3 headsets
- Research and integrate AI tools to accelerate development workflows
- Create dynamic, non-linear training scenarios
- Translate medical protocols into robust state-machine logic
- Program realistic behavior for virtual medical equipment and patient reactions
- Implement xAPI telemetry to track student progress
- Ensure communication with centralized digital infrastructures and Learning Management Systems/LRS
- Collaborate with 3D artists and medical experts on scalable medical simulations
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of professional experience building real-time Unity applications and environments
- Hands-on ownership from concept through delivery
- Highly proficient in Unity
- Confidence shipping features, improving existing systems, and solving complex technical challenges
- Experience working in game studios, XR agencies, or industrial simulation companies
- Understanding of delivering real-world 3D projects
- Experience creating digital training, serious games, or simulation-based projects where accuracy, usability, and performance are critical is a bonus
