Job Description
Remote member contact representative serving Nuvision Credit Union members across six U.S. states. Processing accounts, payments, support requests, and product recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exemplary service to Credit Union members through phones, e-mail, web channels, mail, and facsimile
- Process deposits and withdrawals
- Review account information and credit/card transactions
- Process loan payments
- Provide basic online banking support
- Support depository and lending products and achieve cross-sell goals
- Provide efficient and timely service to membership
- Consult with members, identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on pending transactions
- Hold conversations that matter with members in person or over the phone
- Recommend appropriate products and services
- Open new Member Accounts, including Savings, Checking, Money Market, Trust, Certificates, and IRA
- Complete account forms and agreements
- Perform account maintenance, including address/name changes, ownership and beneficiary updates, account closures, deceased accounts, and notary services
- Identify and report suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity
- Complete required training and compliance modules
- Maintain confidentiality of member and sensitive information
- Support continuous improvement activities
- Represent the Credit Union positively and professionally
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1 year retail experience with a proven track record in meeting and or exceeding service and sales goals
- Basic understanding of financial products and services
- Professional verbal skills and etiquette
- Competent computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Remote signing and ability to work and operate a webcam
- Excellent follow up
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and anticipate member needs
- Excellent Written skills (Email) – Grammar and Spelling
- Member service and organizational skills
- Work well with other departments – Team player
- Genuine interest in helping members through Conversations that Matter and have an empathetic and caring nature
- High School Diploma or equivalent
