Job Description
MV/HV Safety Manager coordinating, implementing, and monitoring safety programs for SOLV Energy. Seeking candidate with safety certifications and solar safety experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, implement, and monitor the Corporate Safety Programs at various project locations.
- Provide electrical safety training and education.
- Develop job specific safety plans and procedures, and see to implementation.
- Inspect job sites to ensure Company Safety Program and OSHA compliance.
- Investigate and analyze bodily injury and property damage accidents.
- Lead investigation of near miss and reportable offenses.
Requirements:
- Have or work to obtain safety certification such as CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, or CUSP.
- BS in Occupational safety and health or 7 years in safety solar safety experience.
- 5 years’ experience in safety or safety related field.
- Willing to travel 75%.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Through knowledge of NFPA 70e.
- Ability to evaluate operations and maintenance work activities with respect to safety and loss control.
- Ability to recognize and analyze company trends with respect to company accidents.
