Job Description
Field-based Business Development Executive growing Walker Advertising’s law-firm lead-generation business. Managing clients, prospecting, and selling complex lead contracts through consultative sales.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong business relationships with preeminent Walker clients to foster long-term partnerships
- Train law firm intake teams to monetize Walker leads and improve firm performance
- Forecast and analyze client return on investment from Walker leads
- Track client conversion rates and coach clients on improving conversion
- Strategize limited lead inventory distribution among clients
- Leverage industry connections and legal-field trends to add client value
- Meet with clients to evaluate Walker product performance and identify additional product needs
- Understand settlement values and geographic contract strengths to guide client investment
- Communicate client concerns and potential deals to management
- Explain complex lead contracts to prospective clients and manage expectations
- Cultivate knowledge of Walker products, top-tier clients, and company history to build prospect relationships
- Develop and implement targeted email campaigns and workflows
- Progress toward pipeline and sales goals
- Attract new clients using Walker’s conversion rates and reputation
- Explain product return on investment to prospective clients
- Attend conferences and seminars to build in-person prospect connections
- Meet or exceed sales, pipeline, and metric targets
Requirements:
- Proven sales quota attainment track record
- Proven new business development skills and ability to retain clients long-term
- Proven ability to think and execute strategically
- Excellent forecasting skills
- Outstanding presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, Zoom, and Salesforce
- Outstanding client-focused Account Management skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher ideally with a focus in Law, Business, Finance, or Sales
- Understanding and managing complex sales cycles
- 5+ years of experience selling to C-levels or to business owners, ideally to law firms
- Excellent face-to-face, virtual, phone, and writing skills
- Ability to conduct thorough needs analyses and develop relationships with senior leaders
- Willingness and ability to attend relevant conferences and seminars
