Job Description
Online Armenian tutor delivering 33 customized beginner lessons via Google Meet for Language Trainers’ New York client. Teaching Eastern Armenian preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one online Armenian language instruction via Google Meet
- Deliver 33 one-hour sessions for a beginner-level college student
- Teach General Armenian, preferably the Eastern Armenian dialect
- Follow the preferred schedule of Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 to 9pm EDT
- Support the student's goal of speaking with his girlfriend and her family in Armenian
- Coordinate availability and earliest possible start date with Language Trainers
Requirements:
- Native Armenian speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter
- Valid work permit/visa
- Live within 20 miles of the specified location
- Availability for the stated schedule, ideally Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 to 9pm EDT
- Submit a CV, availability, and earliest possible start date
- Accept compensation of USD 15 per hour
