Job Description
Online English Tutor teaching English remotely to regular students. Building flexible schedules for COREnglish, which recruits educators for schools across Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Teach English online to students, including young learners
- Build a teaching schedule and complete assigned teaching hours
- Teach during the available Beijing Time schedule
- Provide consistent weekly lessons to regular students
- Collaborate with veteran teachers and Administrative Staffers for support
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any field (mandatory); preference given to degrees in Language and Education
- Any related teaching certificate (TESOL, TEFL, etc.) (mandatory)
- Able to work at least 20 hours per week anytime between 5 PM Beijing Time and 11 PM Beijing Time, Monday–Sunday
- Reliable computer (desktop or laptop); software does not accept Chromebooks
- Wired internet connection using a cable
- Commitment to teaching a minimum of one complete semester (6 months)
- Punctual and responsible work ethic
- Positive attitude
- Experience teaching English to young learners preferred
