Job Description
PL/SQL Developer building and maintaining Oracle Forms and Reports systems. Supporting a US Government client through software design, coding, testing, and debugging.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based scientific, technical, and business software systems
- Design, develop, code, test, and debug software
- Work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives
- Provide analytical support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases
- Provide basic design, build, or maintenance of software using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media
- Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems
- Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards, and is compatible with devices or operating systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required
- 5+ years of Oracle related experience required
- Solid PL/SQL experience
- Strong knowledge of Oracle DBMS 12c or higher
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Forms & Reports
- Oracle APEX experience is a PLUS
- Prior experience working with Agile Methodology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship)
- Must be able to obtain DoD Public Trust clearance
- Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years
- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years; military service excluded
