Job Description

Oracle OTM Solutions Architect responsible for client projects managing freight and configuration needs. Engaging in solution design and independent audits in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Create 'to-be' business process designs that meet customer requirements and provide for dynamic management of freight
  • Perform Oracle Transportation Management, OTM, and Global Trade Management, GTM, configuration according to client requests
  • Work with the customer manager to manage delivery of solutions on time and within budget according to all business requirements identified for the project
  • Perform solution design, including directing other team members and identification of mitigation strategies for project related issues
  • Work independently to define scope and implement smaller solutions for clients
  • Perform business process and functional audits and provide suggestions to improve the use of Oracle Transportation Management, OTM, and Global Trade Management, GTM, to meet the client's needs
  • Document test scripts and test OTM/GTM application
  • Perform training end users
  • Assist with analysis and tool development to improve transportation planning at the operational and tactical level

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems
  • 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience
  • 2-3 years of OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) and GTM (Global Trade Management) experience
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to learn on the fly
  • Willing to travel up to 25%
