Job Description
Core Payments Relationship Manager responsible for closing deals with small to mid-sized businesses. Engaging with merchants and presenting payment solutions to achieve sales goals in California.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for prospecting and running presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle.
- As a Core Payments Relationship Manager (RM) you will report to a District Manager and receive coaching from a Director.
- Activities include explaining our value proposition and demonstrating our Payments Platform, upselling current clients on other Global Payments products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Core Payments District Manager.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- This position requires regular driving to visit client sites, therefore a valid drivers license is necessary
- Live in area relative to job posting location
- Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time
- Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Incentive-driven sales “hunter”
- Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity
- High sense of urgency and innate sales talent
- Enjoys cold-calling and speaking with people face to face
- Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus
