Job Description
Partner Sales Manager expanding NexusTek’s managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI-powered services through TSD and technology advisor channels. Building partner pipeline, bookings, referrals, and revenue across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Build and expand NexusTek's TSD channel through strategic relationships with TSDs, Technology Advisors, agents, brokers, and referral partners
- Recruit and activate new agents and Technology Advisors
- Create partner-sourced demand and pipeline through partner meetings, joint prospecting, account mapping, referrals, events, trainings, and business-development activities
- Participate in partner-generated opportunities to qualify opportunities, uncover customer needs, position NexusTek's value, and advance sales
- Develop joint business-development plans with key TSD and agent partners
- Collaborate with field sales and technical teams to coordinate resources and transition partner opportunities while remaining involved through customer close
- Represent NexusTek at industry events, partner conferences, regional meetings, customer engagements, and other field activities
- Generate partner-sourced leads, pipeline, bookings, referrals, and closed business through the channel
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in partner sales, channel sales, or business development, preferably with an MSP, cloud, cybersecurity, or IT services company
- Direct experience working with TSDs, Technology Advisors, master agents, agents, brokers, or similar indirect technology sales organizations
- Strong understanding of the TSD/TA and MSP ecosystem
- Strong consultative sales skills
- Ability to participate in live customer opportunities and understand business and technology needs
- Ability to articulate NexusTek's value proposition
- Ability to collaborate with field sales through the sales cycle
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate independently and effectively in a remote, field-oriented role covering the U.S.
- Must prioritize NexusTek as primary employment; conflicting additional employment or business activities are not permitted
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; NexusTek participates in E-Verify for all US Employees
