Job Description
Patient Care Representative supporting intake, triage, scheduling, and education for Apollo’s virtual medical cannabis clinic. Delivering compassionate remote care and patient communications across Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to patient intake and coordination through education, triage, and/or appointment booking
- Schedule new patient bookings, follow-ups, and rescheduling
- Conduct proactive outbound patient engagement to support continuity of care and appointment adherence
- Address patient questions and concerns while gathering detailed patient history
- Provide medical cannabis education in clinic or remotely via digital platforms and phone
- Maintain and evolve messaging and knowledge standards
- Provide compassionate, empathetic, direct, strong, and confident communication
- Manage inbound and outbound phone and email communications with stakeholders
- Perform structured patient triage, assessing patient needs, eligibility, and urgency
- Document patient interactions in EMR systems and tracking tools while ensuring compliance with privacy obligations
- Support patient-facing events and clinic initiatives, including scheduling, outreach, and follow-up
- Meet or exceed defined KPIs and performance metrics
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English & French preferred
- 3 or more years of relevant work experience preferred
- Customer service/Call center experience within Health care and/or hospitality industry is preferred
- Experience with clinical databases or EMR systems preferred, but not mandatory
- Proficient in English with strong written and oral communication skills
- Fluency in French is an asset
- Ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Passion, empathy, and emotional intelligence to build relationships and help people improve their health
- Must be meticulous, initiative-taking, and able to foster a positive work environment
- Strong analytical and thought leadership skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment and adapt positively to changes
- Strong listening, communication, and leadership skills
- Must be based in Canada
