Job Description
Adjunct faculty teaching Personal Finance online at Grand Canyon University, Arizona’s premier private Christian university. Facilitating discussions, grading coursework, and supporting students.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
- Teach Personal Finance for the online campus
- Help students develop skills for rational personal finance decisions, money management, responsible credit use, wealth building, and retirement planning
Requirements:
- Preferred: PhD/DBA Finance or Doctorate in another business discipline with Finance emphasis
- Minimum: Masters in Business Administration or Masters in Finance or Masters in Financial Economics
- Graduate degree must be from a regionally accredited university
- AACSB accredited program or ACBSP accredited program
- Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
- Attach any applicable licenses/certifications
- Support the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
