Job Description
Pharmacy Technician managing prescription orders and customer inquiries in a remote setting. Ensuring compliance with state regulations and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for screening orders, research, and review of prescription overrides
- Accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into the computer system
- Solving escalated prescription issues
- Providing solutions needed to help simplify the customer health care experience
- Outbound and inbound calls to doctors and members, entering patient and prescription information into the system, and faxing for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
Requirements:
- Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides
- Three months minimum pharmacy technician experience
- Certified pharmacy technician registration preferred
- Adept at reading/interpreting prescription terminology and medications
- Excellent customer service skills, primarily over the phone.
