Job Description

Pharmacy Technician managing prescription orders and customer inquiries in a remote setting. Ensuring compliance with state regulations and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for screening orders, research, and review of prescription overrides
  • Accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into the computer system
  • Solving escalated prescription issues
  • Providing solutions needed to help simplify the customer health care experience
  • Outbound and inbound calls to doctors and members, entering patient and prescription information into the system, and faxing for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides
  • Three months minimum pharmacy technician experience
  • Certified pharmacy technician registration preferred
  • Adept at reading/interpreting prescription terminology and medications
  • Excellent customer service skills, primarily over the phone.
