Job Description
Licensed Pharmacy Technician responsible for managing prescription overrides and ensuring timely medication delivery. Work remotely for CVS Health while developing pharmaceutical skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for screening orders, specializing in research, review and entry of prescription overrides.
- Ensure patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner.
- Direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification.
- Meet specified production and quality standards as defined by the management team.
- May be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required.
Requirements:
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides.
- Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
- Candidate must reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas.
- Minimum of 6 months related pharmacy technician experience.
- Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- A secure and private room free from noise and distractions.
- Must have your own internet provider that can support the virtual working environment.
- Data Entry Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
