Job Description
Podcast Analyst reviewing and researching listings for a digital podcast platform. Enhancing content accuracy, completeness, and quality through data validation and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly review podcast listings to ensure all information is accurate and complete
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies requiring further research
- Conduct in-depth research using reliable sources to fill missing or incomplete podcast information
- Add relevant details to improve the listener's experience
- Cross-check information against platform policies and industry standards
- Liaise with Content Management and Marketing departments to share findings and improvements
- Track workflow and update management on reviewed podcasts, changes made, and challenges encountered
Requirements:
- Solid educational background to understand the media landscape
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Practical knowledge and skills in research and quality control are beneficial
- Ability to organize and manipulate data
- Capability to review, understand, and summarize complex information
- Ability to spot inconsistencies and fill information gaps
- Ability to convey findings clearly to team members and management
- Deep understanding of podcasts and the podcast medium
- Enthusiasm for podcasts; regular podcast listeners are welcome
