Job Description
Telehealth physician delivering virtual primary care through Bastion Health’s technology-enabled men’s-health platform. Diagnosing, treating, and coordinating care for adult patients across multiple states.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual primary care visits via video and other telehealth modalities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of adult acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans
- Provide patient education and clinical guidance
- Coordinate care with specialists, care coordinators, and external providers as needed
- Support patients across the continuum of care, from initial consultation through follow-up
- Document accurately and efficiently in Athena EMR and internal systems
- Adhere to all telehealth regulations, prescribing guidelines, and state-specific requirements
- Escalate care appropriately based on clinical need
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams
- Deliver high-quality, efficient clinical care and maintain safe, compliant practice across multiple state jurisdictions
Requirements:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted DEA license
- Active, unrestricted medical licenses in multiple U.S. states
- 3+ years of post-residency clinical experience in primary care or related fields
- Eligible for or participating in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a wide range of patient needs
- Comfort practicing independently in a virtual care setting
- Excellent communication skills and strong virtual bedside manner
- Proficiency with EHR systems; Athena experience preferred
- Prior telehealth or virtual care experience preferred
- Experience managing adult patients across preventive, acute, and chronic care preferred
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment preferred
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams preferred
- Multistate licensure across high-volume states preferred
- Physicians must maintain active licensure in the states where care is delivered
