Job Description
Principal Account Executive managing Tier 1 banking accounts for ACI Worldwide, a payments technology company. Driving client retention, revenue growth, executive relationships and strategic sales.
Responsibilities:
- Manage ACI’s overall relationship with a portfolio of large, strategic Tier 1 accounts
- Develop and expand relationships with key client executives
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention and account growth
- Develop and regularly update strategic account plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve client health, revenue growth and satisfaction
- Lead onsite Executive Strategic Business Reviews and coordinate follow-through on action items
- Serve as the client’s advocate within ACI while supporting company goals
- Manage administrative aspects of the assigned account portfolio
- Maintain knowledge of ACI products, enhancements, value propositions, modernization paths, competition and industry trends
- Adhere to corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
- Travel approximately 30% for client and internal activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of demonstrated success managing Tier 1 strategic accounts such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo and other similar
- Minimum 10 years of experience in banking, payments, e-commerce or mobile payments industries
- Successful sales and client retention record
- Excellent executive presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand business and technical solutions and promote customer value propositions
- Ability to move the sales process to closure
- Ability to present professionally to executive leaders and respond creatively to customer needs
- Experience selling technology solutions into multinational organizations and/or merchant acquirers/processors highly desired
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
