Job Description
Principal Cloud Architect at FactSet optimizing cloud solutions in GCP and AWS. Supporting enterprise Cloud Programs and fostering innovation in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the planning and implementation of enterprise Cloud Programs
- Makes meaningful contributions to FactSet's cloud platform and capabilities
- Fosters a culture of innovation and encourages colleagues to think differently in finding solutions
- Works with other Platform Infrastructure Engineering teams to drive adoption of cloud services
- Ensures core FactSet Infrastructure services are available in the cloud
- Increases the velocity of cloud migration and digital transformation
- Works with FactSet security organization to ensure a strong security posture
- Identifies and implements cost optimization strategies for cloud services
Requirements:
- 7 or more years of hands-on public cloud experience
- 5+ years GCP experience
- Leadership experience
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing technologies
- Strong Working knowledge of Python, GoLang, Terraform, or Ansible
- Experience with Docker, GKE, Serverless (Cloud Run / Lambda)
- Foundational knowledge of GCP and AWS Networking services
- Knowledge of Generative AI and AI/ML tools & techniques
- Bachelor's degree in information/computer science, engineering, or related discipline with IT focus required
