Job Description
Senior Full Stack Engineer building OleOle’s global football travel, ticketing, hospitality, and fan experiences platform. Scaling transactional commerce systems for football supporters worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead continued development of OleOleSport.com, a consumer-facing commerce platform
- Build and scale core systems powering ticket sales, hospitality packages, supporter travel, memberships, event experiences, and future commerce initiatives
- Develop and operate high-traffic transactional web applications
- Shape technical architecture and product direction with company leadership, product, design, and engineering teams
- Build systems supporting customer experience, conversion optimization, search, checkout, payments, and operational scalability
- Integrate third-party commercial services and APIs
- Support a global platform for football fans attending matches and events around the world
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production web applications
- Proven experience developing consumer-facing platforms in travel, hospitality, ticketing, events, e-commerce, marketplaces, loyalty programs, or online booking systems
- Strong full stack development experience with modern web technologies, including frontend frameworks, backend services, APIs, and relational databases
- Experience designing and implementing high-volume transactional systems involving search, bookings, reservations, payments, checkout flows, customer accounts, or order management
- Experience integrating third-party APIs, including payment gateways, travel suppliers, ticketing systems, CRM platforms, marketing platforms, analytics tools, and other commercial services
- Strong understanding of website performance, scalability, reliability, security, and customer experience best practices
- Experience building responsive web applications optimized for desktop and mobile users
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and production support
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: experience with online travel agencies, ticketing companies, hospitality platforms, marketplaces, or large-scale e-commerce businesses
- Preferred: experience with international consumer products serving multiple countries, languages, currencies, and payment methods
- Preferred: experience with SEO-driven websites and organic traffic growth strategies
- Preferred: experience with loyalty, rewards, membership, referral, or affiliate programs
- Preferred: experience supporting high-growth consumer businesses and scaling platforms to large user bases
- Passion for football, sports, travel, or live events
- Understanding of football and international sports is a huge plus
