Job Description
Principal Technical SEO Specialist co-owning technical SEO for Legend’s sports and gaming marketing domains. Building automation and AI workflows to improve organic and commercial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Co-own the portfolio-wide technical SEO strategy, roadmap and standards
- Identify and prioritise high-impact organic and commercial opportunities and risks
- Lead complex technical investigations across crawling, rendering, indexation, architecture, internal linking, international SEO, migrations, structured data and web performance
- Partner with Product and Engineering on architecture, major releases, migrations and experimentation
- Translate technical SEO insights into clear priorities and scalable solutions
- Build automated monitoring, diagnostics and early-warning systems
- Develop internal tools and AI-enabled workflows for analysis, quality assurance, prioritisation and execution
- Create reusable technical patterns, guardrails and frameworks across the portfolio
- Coach teams and improve technical capability through documentation and shared tooling
- Report directly to the Chief Gaming Officer
- Co-own technical SEO across the Gaming portfolio while supporting the Sports portfolio
- Lead through expertise with autonomy and visibility across SEO, Product, Engineering and Analytics
Requirements:
- Strong track record of personally leading complex technical SEO initiatives across large websites or multi-domain portfolios, with measurable organic or commercial outcomes
- Expert knowledge of crawling, rendering, indexation, architecture, internal linking, canonicalisation, international SEO, migrations, structured data, JavaScript SEO, log-file analysis and web performance
- Comfortable writing code and independently building tools, diagnostics, monitoring or automated workflows using APIs and large datasets
- Experience deploying and having others adopt technical solutions
- Ability to translate technical findings into priorities based on expected value, risk, effort, confidence and opportunity cost
- Experience influencing Product, Engineering and senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Clear communication of complex technical decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Intellectually curious, technically self-sufficient and deeply hands-on
- Ability to work full-time
