Job Description
Territory Manager growing Ottobock prosthetic and orthotic product sales across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Managing healthcare accounts through visits, demonstrations, training, Salesforce, and trade shows.
Responsibilities:
- Retain and improve profitability of existing accounts within the assigned territory
- Prospect new accounts for assigned product lines
- Maximize territory growth and achieve annual sales targets
- Develop and implement an annual integrated sales/business plan
- Achieve annual goals for sales calls, sales targets, and territory growth
- Complete intensive training to achieve technical proficiency on Ottobock products and services
- Promote assigned products to healthcare professionals through customer visits, sales literature, and product demonstrations
- Provide product training to healthcare professionals in clinical or institutional settings
- Partner with Professional Clinical Services to educate healthcare professionals on Ottobock products
- Use Salesforce daily to update customer information, analyze the customer base, monitor trends, track competitor data, and identify sales opportunities
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in local and regional industry meetings and trade shows
- Use email and voicemail daily with a 24-hour response time
- Complete monthly reports, expense accounts, and other management-requested reports by specified deadlines
- Maintain company assets and product consignment in facilities
- Recognize customer-assistance opportunities and direct customers to qualified Ottobock personnel for troubleshooting and diagnosis
- Work closely with Customer Service, Marketing, and other departments
Requirements:
- Min. 3 - 5 years proven sales experience
- Excellent verbal – written – presentation skills
- BA degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience in health sciences or business management
- Experience in organizing and facilitating customer training sessions and workshop seminars
- Strong organizational skills - ability to work independently
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Strong PC skills – Salesforce, MSOffice, Outlook
- Overnight travel is required up to 70% of the time
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Background in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or related field is preferred
- Must live in territory (LA, MS, AR, Memphis, TN)
- Candidates must reside in the territory
