Job Description
Privacy Compliance Program Manager ensuring data privacy at GoodRx. Collaborating across multiple teams to manage compliance projects and audits with excellent project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Scope, manage, and drive to completion the end-to-end delivery of compliance projects with cross-functional stakeholders with excellent project management skills
- Identify, drive, and manage privacy program maturation, including mapping policies, standards, guidelines, and controls to privacy standards
- Identify technical dependencies and align with stakeholders on remedial actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, such as Engineering, Product, Legal and Ads/Marketing teams to develop holistic solutions and processes that ensure privacy by design
- Manage privacy audits and preparation, including technical pixel, SDK, and cookie audits
- Review, update, develop and implement internal privacy and data governance policies, standards, procedures, and trainings, including developing customized programs and materials for specific teams
- Communicate complex privacy topics and influence compliant, practical solutions to executive audiences
- Develop and report metrics and KPIs related to data privacy
- Proactively monitor regulatory and industry trends and new requirements in the data privacy space to ensure industry-leading privacy practices
- Manage consumer privacy requests, such as deletion requests, and develop consumer-friendly education materials and FAQs on data privacy rights
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience or a Master’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience, or the equivalent in total years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in a privacy compliance program management or related technical disciplines
- Technical experience with data flows, adtech, pixels, and SDKs
- Experience working cross-functionally and managing complex programs
- Experience developing internal policies and procedures, and training programs and communications, related to data privacy
- Ability to operate and react quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of statutes, regulations and guidance related to data privacy and consumer communications and marketing and working knowledge of data privacy regulatory trends
- Experience at direct-to-consumer internet companies, including working knowledge of digital technology related to privacy, such as ad-tracking technology, and ability to communicate clearly regarding such technology to non-technical team members.
